In the spring of 2005, Cornell Mosaic brought together Cornell's African American, Asian, Asian American, Latino, and Native American alumni, faculty, students, and staff, to celebrate diversity and advance inclusion. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we are delighted to tell you that we are continuing to build on the resounding success of this landmark conference.
The success of Cornell Mosaic inspired a series of regional Mosaics in 2006, which were held in New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles, followed by Atlanta in 2007, and Boston and New York City in 2008.
The Office of Diversity Alumni Programs (DAP) oversees Mosaic. DAP collaborates with:
- Regional clubs
- Cornell Association of Class Officers (CACO)
- Colleges and units
- Cornell Alumni Student Mentoring Program
- Office of Minority Educational Affairs
- Student and Academic Services
- Cornell Entrepreneur Network (CEN)
Together, we create programs for our diverse alumni base and convey the importance of giving back to Cornell.
