Second Decade Programs

Second decade alumni are defined as being 10-20 years past graduation. We recognize the importance of programming for this cohort and this page serves as a resource for you. Please see below for resources and information pertinent to second decade alumni.

Looking to become more involved with Cornell volunteer opportunities? Check out CUVolunteer, the Office of Alumni Affairs' online portal that will help you find different ways to volunteer, tailored to your location, interests, skills, and time.

Second decade Google group:

Request to join the second decade Google group, where classmates from the years of 1997-2006 share best practices, articles, events, and really anything that might be of interest to others.

Leadership Lunch and Learn webinars:

Leadership Lunch and Learn is a webinar series conceptualized and executed by the Class of 2004 and the Office of Alumni Affairs. Leadership Lunch and Learn aims to serve the needs of alumni in the second decade - those 10-20 years past graduation. Since this cohort is very busy in their family lives and careers, we want to make it easy for them to engage with the university. Thereby we create programming that comes to them at a convenient place (their computer) at a convenient time (lunchtime, Eastern Time). The targeted topics are ones that are particularly relevant to second decade alumni and feature expert speakers. While the series is specifically marketed to second decade alumni, anyone is welcome to attend.
