About Cornell Wall Street

Cornell Wall Street (CWS) is for all Cornellians who are interested in connecting with others in the financial industry.  CWS helps Cornellians tap into a wealth of industry expertise through:

• alumni and faculty presentations
• networking events and opportunities
• online communities

Throughout the world—from Hong Kong to London, Singapore to San Francisco, New York City to Ithaca—Wall Street is the iconic center of global finance. In every article, news report, blog, and tweet, Wall Street is a universal term for investment bankers, private equity managers, lawyers, accountants, private financial planners, government policy makers, and many others who impact finance.

It’s no wonder why so many students are attracted to the financial industry.

Worldwide, there are over 50,000 Cornellians (alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff) associated with the financial industry. To better serve them, the university launched CWS, based in New York City, in summer 2009

For Alumni:

CWS helps alumni make useful connections with each other, and with Cornell faculty, staff, and students who share this specific professional affinity. CWS offers small and large events with relevant speakers and programs. Get started with CWS by subscribing to our e-mail announcements.

CWS serves as a portal to Cornell's programs, faculty, and students. CWS helps businesses leverage Cornell's strengths in identifying, recruiting, and promoting future leaders. CWS helps Cornell alumni connect with resources such as finance and legal professionals, employees, and publicity.

For Students:

CWS helps students access an ever-changing industry by linking them with Cornellians who are well-established in the field.  CWS aims to cultivate mentoring relationships, internships, and career guidance so that students prepare for and create their dream jobs.
