In your own words, our operators are "experienced," "trusted experts," "so friendly," "professional, helpful, and exceptionally service-oriented."

Academic Arrangements Abroad
, a boutique Manhattan-based tour operator, customizes trips for Cornell and other prestigious institutions including world-renowned museums and educational institutions. Specializing in luxury travel that fulfills on all levels (intellectual to gastronomical; aesthetic to social) Academic Arrangements Abroad designed our September 2015 art-and-architecture-focused trip through Japan. AHI logo
AHI has long been recognized as a leader in educational travel and Cornell has a great history of offering extraordinarily high end and surprisingly affordable journeys with them. We look forward to another exciting year with AHI’s expert guides across the globe, as well as on international six-star cruises with Crystal. In 2015, Cornell is thrilled to offer 10 trips with AHI including Italian Riviera, a fabulous program requiring no single supplement for travelers who want to strike out on their own in high style at a great value. In 2016, we are thrilled to offer The Art of Living in Bali, a total immersion experience where our travelers will reside in Bali for 3 weeks enjoying spa treatments, cultural experiences, and local cuisine.

In your words: “We had a terrific trip, one of the best Cornell/AHI that we have ever taken. The group was wonderful; Liz was a perfect host; the SA guide, Inga, was outstanding; the local guides were excellent; the Rovos Rail train ride was amazing; and the activities, animals, scenery, background culture, food, and accommodations were superb. The couple with Arizona State affiliation were a delightful addition to the group and we all enjoyed them and they us.”

Ciclismo Classico logo

Ciclismo Classico, founded by Cornellian Lauren Hefferon ’83, has been heavily lauded as one of the world’s best adventure travel companies, as well as honored for being one of the top 100 women-led businesses in Massachusetts. As a specialized “boutique” tour operator since 1988, Ciclismo Classico provides the most authentic, unique, and exciting vacations in the adventure travel industry. Their well-crafted educational trips are active immersions into local art, language, music and, of course, delicious cuisine. By combining legendary service and rare cultural experiences, the Ciclismo philosophy continues to energize and transform each and every guest. In 2015 Cornellians will cycle hill and dale of the Italian countryside in search of slow food, local wines, and the finest views on our Piedmont: Feast for the Senses tour.

In your words: “I have travelled with Ciclismo four times thus far and have nothing but the best to say about the company, the guides, and the corporate office in Boston, not to mention of course that it's fantastic that Lauren is a fellow Cornell alumna.” ~Nina Rosenbladt '94

In your words: The Tour de France banner from Saanenmoser, Switzerland is going on a special wall at home. And the whole trip exceeded our expectations!” ~Renee '92 and Brian Wilson, about their summer 2016 Cornell-Classic Journeys experience with their children ages 9, 11, and 14

Go NExt logo

Cornellians have been raving about our Go Next cruises since our first group stepped aboard the American Queen and steamed down the Mississippi five years ago. Since then (from Tahiti to Alaska, from the Baltic to the Mediterranean) our travelers return year after year to enjoy deluxe ocean cruising and to trace history on domestic river cruises. Flawless onboard service, overflowing hospitality, and remarkable value make our Go Next cruises the perfect setting for bursting into spontaneous renditions of the Alma Mater in the formal dining room. Join us in March 2016 as we partner with Go Next to take you aboard the luxurious Marina by Oceania to discover the pearl farms and pink-sand beaches of French Polynesia.

In your words: “A short note to tell you that my wife and I enjoyed the trip, which just ended. Go Next handled all the arrangements well (we were surprised to see that there were alums aboard from about 20 other colleges!). Their reps were available on board and at our post-cruise extension hotel in Barcelona, and were knowledgeable and friendly. We were especially pleased with Oceania - one of the reasons we took this trip was to try out what for us was a smaller ship, and it was a success. Although we traveled with another (non-Cornell) couple, we very much enjoyed getting to know the other alums in our group. Hope someday to take another trip with CAA travel.”
