The 62nd annual meeting of the Board of Trustees and the Cornell University Council honored the 150th anniversary of the Morrill Land Grant Act, which paved the way for the establishment of Cornell University. It was an opportunity to celebrate and better understand Cornell's ongoing commitment to produce diverse students and scholars who create and share knowledge with the community, New York State, and the world. About Trustee-Council Annual Meeting
Every October, the Cornell University Council holds its annual meeting in Ithaca in conjunction
with the Board of Trustees.
At Trustee-Council Annual Meeting (TCAM) members are informed about current Cornell
concerns, activities, and priorities. The meeting provides an opportunity to become
more knowledgeable about the university and to ask questions, as well as to
express views and ideas. Members also become more acquainted with Cornell faculty,
staff, students, and administrators through committee meetings, discussions,
lectures, and social events.
