DownloadReunion Theme: “On the Road to 50: Celebrating our Rich History While Looking Forward”
With great pleasure, the Cornell Black Alumni Association (CBAA) welcomes all Black alums back to campus for our first in-person Reunion since 2018. CBAA’s Reunion is in conjunction with Cornell University’s Reunion Weekend, June 6th – 9th, 2024, in Ithaca, NY. It is an opportunity for Black alums to celebrate our collective multi-generational influence at the university and, most of all, to celebrate us. So, pack your bags, travel from far and wide, and let’s kick off the celebration as we countdown to CBAA’s 50th year, family Reunion-style.
Housing and Headquarters Location
Class headquarters and housing will be on North Campus at Ujamaa (Low Rise 10).
Address: Ujamma Residential College, 68 Sisson Place, Ithaca NY 14850
Arrival and parking
When arriving for Reunion, guests may drop off passengers and luggage near Ujamaa (Ujamaa Residential College, 68 Sisson Place, Ithaca NY 14850) by turning into Program House Drive off of Jessup Road. Once passengers and luggage have been delivered, the driver should exit the drop off area via Jessup Road and park in A Lot.
The main parking lot on North Campus is the A-Lot behind the Townhouse Community buildings. Available parking will also be located in the Hasbrouck apartment complex outer circle (121 Pleasant Grove Road, Ithaca, NY 14850) across from North Campus. Additional parking locations and details are listed HERE. A Reunion shuttle van will be available to transport guests from A-Lot and Hasbrouck parking lots to HQ locations on Thursday between noon and 8 p.m. After Thursday, on-request ride assistance is available by contacting 607-255-7085.
CBAA Hotel Block
Campus housing reservations will open in early April as a part of overall Reunion registration. Though the dorm setup differs from when we were students, we understand dorm living may not suit everyone’s needs. To accommodate those who prefer to stay in a hotel, CBAA has reserved a special block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Ithaca. Rooms are available for $279/night and can be booked at http://bit.ly/cbaa1976.
