Why, yes! Of course we welcome children at Reunion! We also know that you want grown-up time with your friends, so in addition to hosting child-friendly events, Cornell also offers a variety of childcare options.
The Youth Program is for children ages 6–15 on Friday and Saturday of Reunion weekend. It provides adult supervision for academic programs, recreational activities, and dinner. Activities are designed to be age appropriate, with a separate schedule for each age group (6–8 years, 9–12 years, and 13–15 years).
Equipped with a gymnasium, pool, bowling lanes, lounge, and playing fields, Helen Newman Hall serves as the Youth Program headquarters. In addition, children will have opportunities to see and experience other parts of the Cornell campus.
The cost of the 2013 Youth Program is $65 per child per day. Pre-registration is required; parents may register children for one or two days. Registration for the program can be completed during the adult Reunion registration process and must be submitted no later than May 24, 2013.
