Description:
As part of the collaborative efforts of the
Cornell University Library and the
Paleontological Research Institution to
celebrate Charles Darwin's 200th
birthday, the Map and Geospatial
Information Collection presents a map
exhibit designed to put Darwin's life and
achievements in a cartographic context.
The exhibit explores the cartography at
the heart of Darwin's scientific
investigations and also displays maps as
utilitarian objects Darwin used in
everyday life.
