The Learning Strategies Center is Cornell's central academic support unit. Each year the Learning Strategies Center helps more than 2,000 Cornell students maximize their academic potential. Our supplemental courses, free tutoring, study skills course and workshop, and reading, writing, and statistics labs help students develop effective strategies to excel in their rigorous Cornell course work.

B- Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Add to Personalized Reunion Itinerary

Project teams offer students a range of experiences and opportunities that we believe will be useful in life after college. Founded in spring 2003, the Cornell University Solar Decathlon team is a student-run, interdisciplinary organization made up of over 100 students from six colleges, plus graduate students from the architecture, engineering, and business schools. The Solar Decathlon Competition is an International competition among 20 university and college teams to research, design, fund, and construct solar- powered homes and transport them to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The Cornell 100+ MPG Team is an engineering project group whose goal is to compete in and win the Progressive Insurance Automotive X-Prize Competition. We are also striving to help develop a new form of automobile that will reduce global nonrenewable power consumption and harmful emissions.

The Office of Student Disability Services (SDS) is responsible for providing federally mandated support services for students with disabilities. We work in partnership with the Cornell community to address the access needs of students with physical, learning, medical, sensory, or psychological disabilities that substantially affect a major life activity (e.g., walking, communicating, learning, seeing, or breathing).

The Cornell Railroad Historical Society (CRHS) was founded in 1977 with roots dating back more than 50 years to a period when rail travel was the way Cornell students traveled to and from Ithaca. From its initial location in Bailey Hall in 1880 to its current home in Stocking Hall (since 1923), the Cornell Dairy has supplied the Ithaca campus with high-quality dairy products from fluid milk to ice cream and yogurt. All of our first-class dairy products are manufactured from milk produced at the Cornell Dairy Farm in nearby Harford, N.Y. Come visit the Army ROTC alumni booth to learn about our continually expanding ROTC opportunities and our distinguished alumni program. Army ROTC is the best leadership course in America, and our students epitomize this daily. Serve your country and get paid full tuition scholarships for contracting as a cadet. All Cornell students are encouraged to take a Military Science course without obligation to join the Army. Please stop by our office at 101 Barton Hall and tour the Bruce Hart Memorial Library.
