SPONSOR A 2008 BOOK AWARD

CLICK HERE to sponsor a Book Award!

Dear Cornellians,

Interested in participating in more volunteer activities with the Cornell Club? Now you can get involved in the St. Louis community while promoting Cornell University by sponsoring a Book Award!

Through the Cornell Club Book Award program, the club recognizes area high school juniors who have made unique contributions to their schools and communities, and have demonstrated overall academic and extracurricular excellence, leadership capabilities, a record of altruistic behavior, and a strong work ethic. Last year, the club recognized 18 outstanding area high school students. This year, we hope to expand the program to 20.

The program is simple: make a contribution of $20 to cover the cost of purchasing one Book Award (which will be selected by the Book Award Committee). Then, if you are available, present the Book Award to the recipient (who will also be selected by the committee with recommendations from club members) at the school's annual awards night. That's it -- feel free to sponsor as many awards as you like!

To get involved, just go tothe Book Award Sponsorship page, and fill out the sponsorship form. If you have special ties to an area high school, indicate that on the form and we will do our best to match you with that school.

If you have questions or comments, or would like to make a contribution by check, please contact John Constantino.

Thank you so much for your continued support of the Cornell Club of St. Louis,

The Cornell Club Book Award Committee
