Welcome to the Cornell Alumni Association of North Texas (CAANT). The CAANT organization is here to help facilitate the continued interaction with both Cornell University and fellow Cornellians in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

This year we are looking to increase the activities the club participates in and will be calling on our alumni to help organize and participate in the events. If you have an event idea or want to help lead a Cornell group in something you are already active with, please contact the Social chair or President to get things started. In addition, you will see notices on the website for upcoming events and opportunities to volunteer.

The website is currently undergoing a few updates but will again be the central point communication where CAANT distributes all types of Cornell information. Please continue to check the site to keep up with everything that is going on in CAANT.

Get Involved with CAANT!!

Reconnect, Recollect and Have Fun! All Cornell Alumni in the DFW area are members of CAANT, so attend some events and get involved! Bring friends and family - the more the merrier. CAANT has some great events planned for 2009 and 2010. Check out the Events page on the CAANT web site or visit our pages on both Facebook and LinkedIn to see what's happening and get a sense of what great fun has been had to date.

As a member of the Cornell community in North Texas, you'll have access to:

- Fun events, programs, performances, lectures, information, networking opportunities, etc.
- Free or discounted event admission
- Priority registration
- Access to unique and interesting programs
- Access to the CAANT online alumni directory
- Discounts to All-Ivy events or events hosted by other Cornell-affiliated clubs

At last count, there were over 1200 Alumni in the North Texas area, and even though we're a long way from Ithaca, the Big Red spirit is alive and well. Please join us at an upcoming event. We look forward to seeing you.
