Cornell Alumni Regional Offices

The University has nine Regional Offices, located in or near major metropolitan centers throughout the United States, which serve alumni organizations in all cities within their region. In addition, an office located on the Cornell campus is devoted to serving international alumni.

The mission of the Regional Offices is to implement the day-to-day public affairs programs in Alumni Affairs, Development, the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, continuing education, and career-related programs. My responsibility is to work directly with club and association leaders to aid them in the development of their alumni organization via membership, event management and leadership succession. However, alumni can contact me for any reason! I am more than happy to try and answer their questions or direct them to the right person.

As the regionally based representative for Western PA, OH, MI, IN, and KY, I support efforts of Cornell Clubs and Alumni Associations, coordinate volunteer fund raising initiatives such as phonathons and personal solicitation committees, and assist the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassadors Network with student recruitment activities. Although I am the prime contact for this geographic area, my colleagues in the Midwest Regional Office: Kathy Cornell (Director) and Sandy Zakin (Administrative Assistant) are also available to assist alumni, parents, students, and friends of Cornell. My office is located in Chicago, but I travel extensively throughout the region.
