Annual Board Meeting & Social Event

If you are interested in helping to plan/organize Activities within the Cornell Club of Michigan, or if you just want to know what's going on, join us for our Annual Board Meeting, starting at 6:00 p.m..

Annual Faculty Speaker Event: Professor Jeffery Hancock Speaking on
"Web of Deceit: The Practice and Detection of Lying in the Digital Age
Henry Ford Estate, 4901 Evergreen Road, Dearborn at 6:00 p.m.

Professor Jeffrey Hancock will be giving a presentation at the Henry Ford Estate on privacy and deception in the Digital Age. Deception seems to be rife online, with spam in our e-mail and fake information in online dating profiles. At the same time, people are sometimes incredibly honest online, revealing their most intimate secrets on blogs available to the public. How, when and why we do we lie online? These questions amongst many others you may have will be discussed.

Join the Cornell Club of Michigan, the College of Engineering Alumni Association, current students, parents, and Cornell racing fans for the 2008 Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) World Championships. Our Cornell team is always a lead contender, having won the event NINE times! Location TBD. Watch for more information in April on our website, or contact Erick Lavoie '00 at elavoie@ford.com.
