Applications for the Class of 2014 are starting to roll in, and contacts are beginning to be assigned. The following CAAAN announcements are important regarding the fall recruiting/contact process:
1) College Fair Invitations
With college fairs already occurring in some areas and the busiest fair season approaching, our office is receiving college fair invitations by the dozen.If you or one of your committee members receives a college fair invitation in the mail, please forward it to our office right away. Even if you plan to staff the fair in question, it is still very important that we receive a copy of each invitation for our records.Please forward invitations to: Undergraduate Admissions Office, Cornell University, 410 Thurston Avenue, Ithaca, NY 14850.
2) Contact Reports Accepted
as of October 1
The
contact season is officially underway. The Alumni Contact Report Form is
active, so this is a chance to get a head start on the contact season. Narrative
contact reports for Early Decision applicants are due November 30.
3) Beloit College Mindset
List
Each
August since 1998, faculty and staff at Beloit College have produced a list
that helps us to understand the students that will arrive on college campuses
that fall.This year's freshman class is
the class of 2013 and most of these students were born in 1991.This list can prove very helpful for you as
you prepare to meet with applicants.
