Cornell Hawai'i Club
A home away from home

The Hawaii Club at Cornell provides students with a home away from home. We try to help both new and old students to become better aquainted with the new Cornell environment.

We hold Hawaii club gatherings where all students in the Hawaii Club, both from Hawaii and other places, can meet each other and become friends. This bond we all share proves to be very important becomes participants realize that they can always turn to the Hawaii club whenever they need anything or just want to be with people they know.

At the beginning of the school year, we hold a gathering so that all the students in the club can meet one another. Right before the winter season, we take all the new students shopping for much needed winter clothes. We hold little gatherings throughout the year and in May, we put on a Hawaii Club Luau. At the Luau, there is a hula show, hawaiian food dinner and more, all put on by the students.

The Hawaii Club is entirely student run. It's a great club for students from Hawaii and not from Hawaii to meet others, learn about Hawaii, and to be less homesick because there's finally someplace you can turn to in order to get spam musubi and other local favorites.
