Dear Fellow Cornellians,

Larry Ben Welcome to a wonderful new season for the Cornell Club of the Gold Coast! We have another great schedule of events for this year that will provide social, educational and networking activities, and opportunities for all of our members and local alumni to participate. I encourage all Cornellians, Cornell parents, and friends of the University to become active in club-sponsored programs and activities. I promise you that your participation will be rewarding.

We have a great mix of alumni and friends, so if you have not been to an event for awhile, or have not joined our club, I strongly encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to meet your fellow Cornellians and have some fun. Our Cornell Club is actively seeking volunteers to organize and/or sponsor various events throughout the year.

A membership form can be dowloaded from this web site. Please send in your dues payment and support your club. Dues are used to support mailings, to reduce the cost of events, to sponsor programs with the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, and help to provide a quality and diverse program of activities throughout the year. Members enjoy reduced program fees, admission to member-only events, and are eligible to participate at the board level.

Please note that with the increased cost of postage, printing, etc., Cornell and your club are going to use e-mail more to communicate and notify you of upcoming events. Remember to write your e-mail address clearly on the membership form and sign up for the mail list on our website at http://www.alumni.cornell.edu/orgs/clubs/goldcoast.

I am fortunate to have a Board of Directors that is interested, dedicated, and active in supporting Cornell University and our club. We are always looking for new members to join us on the board.
