Cornell Ski & Snowboard Day at Timberline
- When: Sunday, February 24, 2008 - Arrive by 8:30 AM, lifts open at 9 AM

Join the Club in the private dining room at Olea for dinner. There will be a three course menu with options to select from.�Wine�and drinks are�not included but will be available for individual purchase.
Olea taps the cuisines of Italy, France and Spain for a Mediterranean-inspired menu. Everything is meant to be shared - either in small or large sizes - from the salumi and sausage plates to flat breads, fin fish, meat and pasta. Named for the beloved olive plant, Olea offers a bold twist on Mediterranean cooking with artful presentation and complex flavors.
Housed in a former warehouse space, Olea's décor adds touches of vintage lighting, leather banquettes and bead board to the high-ceilinged dining room and bar. Owner Richard Glass designed the expansive space himself drawing from restaurant experience at Chicago's Green Dolphin Street and Café Absinthe, along with design training from the Chicago Institute of Design.

Join the club for Ken Kesey’s epic tale set amid the conflict between the Stamper clan – a family of hard-nosed, self-centered lumberjacks – and the out-of-work union loggers in town. But the heart of the story is the struggle between two brothers: one who represents the land, the body and the spirit the pioneers brought with them over the Oregon Trail; the other an introspective, Yale-educated gentleman whose long-awaited return home provides the play’s catalyst. The fury of the brothers’ long-held grudge rises to the surface as their love for the same woman becomes increasingly impossible to ignore.

Isabel's recently opened in the Pearl DistIsabel’s recently opened in the Pearl District. Isabel Cruz brings a warm and creative combination of Latin flavor with Asian accents. Her trademark blend of Puerto Rican, Cuban, Mexican, Japanese, and Thai cooking allowed her to cut some of the calories and fat so often found in Latin food without ever sacrificing taste. In Isabel's recently released book, Isabel's Cantina, the L.A.-raised Latin chef and restaurateur shares deceptively simple recipes that make her five West Coast restaurants so popular, as well as many of her own personal favorites.

This year we are happy to�announce�that�Dr. Kathryn�Boor a Professor in the Department of Food Science will be visiting Portland to speak about food safety.�Dr. Boor�has degrees Cornell University (B.S. in Food Science), the University of Wisconsin (M.S. in Food Science) and the University of California, Davis (Ph.D. in Microbiology in 1994).�In 1994�she�joined the Cornell faculty and is a currently a member of the Graduate Fields of Food Science, Microbiology and Environmental Toxicology.� Space is limited, so please respond early.

Join the Club for a private, family-style dinner at Simpatica Dining Hall.� There will be a pre-set four course menu. (A vegetarian entr�e will be available if requested ahead of time). Wine is not included but will be available for individual purchase.
The owners of Simpatica Dining Hall are committed to culinary traditions constantly exploring new avenues of food and taking no shortcuts. Every dish is prepared from scratch. They have their own charcuterie and butcher shop "Viande Meats". Drawing from their varied backgrounds and upbringings, they have a broad range of culinary history to choose from, whether it be American Regional, European Regional, Asian or Pacific.
Beavers Baseball
