Cornell Club of Greater Philadelphia

Fellow Cornellians, Parents, and Friends,

Want to meet nice people, attend stimulating events, and generally add more enjoyment to your life? Why not become more involved with the Cornell Club of Greater Philadelphia (CCGP)! Our new year of planned activities is just beginning as the students are again buckling down to their books in Ithaca.

Last year our Club celebrated its first one hundred years in grand style. The highlight was the Centennial Gala Dinner in February at the Downtown Marriott with new Mayor Michael Nutter as the keynote speaker. Other highly successful events were the CCGP Kick Off at the Pyramid Club, Zinck's Night at the Irish Pub, the Renoir Landscapes at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the football tailgate and Big Red Band at Penn, the CAAAN accepted students' reception, and Founder's Day annual meeting.

We look forward to building on last year's momentum and encourage your involvement as our Club begins its second century. We are attempting to offer a wide array of events so that all members will find items of interest. Please see the club website for new events, details and updates. The schedule of events in the mailing is not a complete list of activities and may change.

We encourage your membership and participation in the CCGP. If you have any suggestions or would like to become more involved in our organization, please contact me or one of the other officers. We look forward to becoming even more successful in our second hundred years by offering what our members are seeking. Let us hear from you so that we can enjoy and grow together. At the least, we look forward to sharing upcoming events with you.

Yours in Big Red,
