PBA Spring Phon-A-Thon

April 30 and May 1

Please join CBAA and CAAA for the Cornell Club of Atlanta for our Spring Philanthropic Event which will be the PBA Spring Phone-A-Thon.

For those who support public radio this is a great opportunity to have a direct impact by assisting with this fundraiser.  Additionally, CAAA and CBAA will receive a "shout out" on the shift that the most Cornellians sign up for and attend.  This is a great PR opportunity for Cornell.

All you need to do is select a shift by clicking on the following website http://www.pba.org/support/volunteer/volregistration and email fgg2law@yahoo.com  regarding which shift you will be attending and date. Ideally we would like to ask everyone to target the am shifts on 4/30 and 5/1 but as we know everyone's schedule varies so sign up when you can and let Frank Goldman know your name and what shift you will be attending.

The address info is below:

        Atlanta Educational Telecommunications Collaborative, Inc.
        740 Bismark Rd. NE
        Atlanta, GA 30324

Cornell In YOUR Neighborhood

The very successful Cornell neighborhood socials launched during Spring 2007 will continue this membership year.  On the horizon are gatherings in Suwanee, Alpharetta/Roswell and Dunwoody – and we hope to repeat many of the intown locations graciously hosted by alumni during the past several months. These are casual affairs to enable you to meet Cornellians who live near you.  These events are free for CAAA members and $5 dollars for non-members.  CAAA memberships will be available at the event.

Please contact Liz Heitner at lizheitner@gmail.com NOW to volunteer to host one of these small get-togethers at your home or community center - CAAA will do all of the legwork if you provide the place!
