A message from MAIIC

In the spring of 2005, Cornell Mosaic brought together Cornell’s African American, Asian American, Latino, and Native American alumni, faculty, students, and staff to celebrate diversity and advance inclusion.  On behalf of the Board of Trustees, We are delighted to tell you that we are continuing to build on the resounding success of this landmark conference.

During 2006, four regional Mosaics were held:  New York City and Philadelphia in February, Chicago in September, and Los Angeles, in November.  The response to Cornell Mosaic has been so positive and strong, we are taking this alumni-driven initiative to Atlanta, GA, on September 28, 2007, and Boston, MA, on February 1, 2008.  Cornell Mosaic’s hallmark programming features prominent speakers that discuss topical and provocative issues, and lively panel discussions. These discussions, along with informal opportunities for spirited networking, are opportunities you won’t want to miss.  Please consult this web site for more details, and visit here often for updates, comments and future plans.

We hope you will join us for a Cornell Mosaic regional event in 2007-08.   We also encourage you to spread the word to your fellow Cornellians who may be interested in attending.

Sincerely,
MAIIC Members, 2007- 2009
