Get Involved: Young Alumni Program

Young Alumni Make a Difference

If you’ve graduated in the last 10 years, you know there’s always more to do than can fit in a day. So where you put your free time should count. By giving some of your time to the Cornell Annual Fund, you not only give back to the university and get to meet other Cornellians, your involvement and support makes a real difference to students on campus today. For more information about the opportunities listed below, please call 800-279-3099.

Ways to Get Involved

Reunion Campaigns
Reunion Campaign Committee members contact classmates to ask them to make a gift to Cornell. Major Gifts Committees solicit gifts at the Ivy Society or Tower Club level and higher, and Participation Committees reach as many classmates as possible to encourage them to make a gift and attend reunions. Interested? Contact us!
Giving Societies
Ivy Society is an exclusive giving society for young alumni in their first 10 years after graduation who support Cornell with a gift of $250 or more. Tower Club membership for young alumni is defined as an annual gift to the university of $2,500 or more. Volunteer opportunities exist on Major Gift Committees for those interested in contacting alumni and friends in their region to ask for an annual Ivy Society or Tower Club level gift. Interested? Contact us!
Thank you programs
One of the most important ways to recognize participation in Cornell is to thank people supporting the university. You can help us thank alumni who gave to the Cornell Fund by volunteering for the Thank-You Note program or by hosting a “thankathon” in your home and inviting Cornellians to hand-write thank you notes. We supply cards, envelopes, stamps, and addresses. Interested? Contact us!
Regional Phonathons
Volunteer alumni and friends solicit gifts through regional phonathons each fall. Regional phonathons are coordinated jointly by Regional Offices and the Cornell Annual Fund. Interested? Contact us!
