Volunteering for the Cornell Annual Fund

Alumni, parents, and friends from around the world work together on an annual cycle to raise current-use, unrestricted funds that the president, provost, deans, and directors use where needs or opportunities are greatest.

Volunteer solicitors make a direct and lasting impact on Cornell by sustaining its growth and promoting its ability to respond to immediate priorities. Each year, with the support of our staff, over 400 Annual Fund volunteers make personal contact with other Cornellians. A key goal for all Annual Fund committees is to increase the number of individuals giving leadership level ($2,500+) Annual Fund gifts to the university.

To learn more about volunteer committees within the Annual Fund, we invite you to explore the program areas below.

Regional Campaign Committees
Every year committee members across the country reach out to 10-15 fellow Cornellians to help support the university.

Currently, these committees are based in Boston, Chicago, Metro New York, Northern New Jersey, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. In addition, the program supports a National Campaign Committee that includes volunteers throughout the country.

Reunion Campaign Committees
In their reunion year, Reunion Campaign volunteers help raise funds from their classmates to celebrate their time together at Cornell and support the university.

Parents Fund Committee
Non-alumni parents of current Cornell undergraduates reach out to other parents, helping them to connect to Cornell and asking them to consider gifts to the university.
