Senior Class Campaign
What we are about
The Senior Class Campaign encourages Cornell seniors to:
- establish a habit of philanthropy and active involvement with Cornell
- achieve a high level of class participation
- build class unity
- nurture and develop class leaders
Why should you give?
It's what Cornellians do!
Cornellians have a longstanding tradition of giving back to their alma mater. Each year, more than 41,000 alumni show their pride by giving to Cornell. The Senior Class Campaign program has been going on for more than 30 years as a way to educate students about the importance of philanthropy. We need your support to continue the tradition and make this the most successful campaign yet!
Giving is good
Cornell has changed our lives. It has given us outstanding academic resources, lasting friendships, and countless memories. Our Cornell experience was made possible through the generosity of the alumni who came before us. Now we have the opportunity to build on this great tradition of alumni support and to say "thank you." Our gifts to the Cornell Annual Fund will help future generations of students experience Cornell at its best.
Establish a scholarship
As part of the Senior Class Campaign, we'll establish a Class of 2009 Scholarship to leave as our legacy on campus. What better way to leave our mark on campus than with a gift that keeps on giving? This need-based scholarship will be awarded to a rising senior each year, compliments of our class.
Excellent faculty
Our support helps Cornell recruit and retain the best and the brightest faculty.
Need-blind admissions
We're helping Cornell admit students based on merit rather than the ability to pay tuition.
The things that make Cornell great
Our gifts help students cheer the hockey team, run track, camp out in Club Uris, picnic in Plantations, visit the Johnson Museum of Art, and get involved in student activities.
Competition, baby!
Help our Senior Class Campaign score the highest participation rate in the Ivy League. (High annual participation also improves our national rankings!) Let's show Harvard, Brown, and Columbia what we're made of!
