Get Involved: Reunion Campaigns

There are few alumni experiences more special than a Cornell Reunion. In any given year, thousands of Cornellians return to The Hill with their significant others, families, and friends to celebrate and reminisce about their times on campus and the impact Cornell has had on their lives. Cornell Annual Fund Reunion Campaigns build on that spirit and excitement by providing support for 14 reunion class fundraising campaigns. Through the dedication and generosity of countless Cornellians, our reunion classes continue to set lofty goals and break long-standing records for annual support for the University and special gifts in honor of reunion.

Volunteers expand our network of friends beyond what we can do alone. Each year, more than 100 volunteers from the 5th to the 70th reunion class give generously of their time and talent to encourage classmates' participation. These volunteers focus on speaking with classmates about special reunion gifts at the Tower Club or greater level. Reunion Campaign volunteer duties include taking part in committee conference calls, soliciting reunion gifts, identifying classmates to contact, and thanking those who support the campaign. The Cornell Annual Fund staff provides training and support throughout the year.

What can you do if it is not your Reunion year? You can begin to make connections and build experience through one of the many volunteer opportunities of the Cornell Annual Fund and the Office of Alumni Affairs, including Regional Campaign committees, and the Cornell Annual Fund Thank You Note program. These activities build a strong foundation prior to Reunion.

All gifts made by class members during the fiscal year from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 count toward the Reunion Campaign totals. Two-year commitments of $10,000 or more or three-year commitments of $15,000 or more also count if a classmate signs a statement of intent. Matching corporate gifts from your employer also count.
