Red Sea, Nile Valley and the Holy Land Join this more rare, 11-day journey, a cruise aboard the deluxe 25-cabin HARMONY V to the lands of Jordan, Egypt, Israel. Travel to the mysterious "Rose-Red City"of Petra, hewn from sandstone cliffs by the ancient Nabateans over 2,000 years ago. Embark the 25-cabin HARMONY V in Aqaba, and cruise the Red Sea visiting the sixth-century Monastery of St. Catherine at the foot of Mount Sinai. Spend an overnight from the ship in Luxor, providing time to visit the necropolis of the Valley of the Kings and the Temples of Luxor and Karnac on the banks of the Nile River. Next day we are able to stand face to face with the Sphinx in the shadow of the iconic Pyramids of Giza as we journey into Cairo. Transit the Suez Canal and then enjoy a rare visit to two of Israel's cultural and spiritual centers, Jerusalem and the Sea of Galilee. In eclectic and historic Jerusalem, visit the Wailing Wall, a remaining part of the Temple constructed over 2,000 years agoand walk the Via Dolorosa through the Christian Quarter.
