Greek Isles
April 26 - May 6, 2010
Tour Operator: AHI Travel

A land steeped in mythology and legend, Greece has captured the minds and hearts of artists and writers for centuries. The magic of this ancient land is yours to discover as you immerse yourself in the idyllic islands of Crete and Santorini. On Crete, discover how the Greek way of life is flavored by the island's Venetian and Turkish past. Explore Rethymnon, including the nearby Palace of Knossos, where the myths describe as the home of King Minos and the Minotaur. Enjoy a lively Greek Night, which includes musical and dance performances! Visit Heraklion, the island's capital and center of the Minoan civilization, and Chania, which has a lovely Old Town. Cruise to Santorini, actually a diminutive volcanic archipelago that many believe may be the site of the lost city of Atlantis! Visit the Akrotiri Museum, which is a showcase of the excavation of a Bronze Age village. Cruise to the caldera islet of Thirassia. Your own Greek odyssey concludes in Athens, where you will explore the National Archaeological Museum, the Acropolis and vibrant Plaka district.

Approximately $3,595, per person, plus airfare and V.A.T., based on double occupancy.
