Connecting All CornelliansFormed in 1990 through a merger of the Cornell Alumni Association and the Federation of Cornell Clubs, the Cornell Alumni Federation (CAF) is the umbrella organization under which all alumni activities fall. The CAF board comprises 65 members who represent all of the major Cornell alumni organizations, including Cornell clubs, college alumni associations, the Cornell Association of Class Officers, the Cornell University Council, the CAAAN advisory council, the Cornell Black Alumni Association, the Cornell Latino Alumni Association, the Cornell Asian Alumni Association, the Cornell University Gay and Lesbian Alumni Association, and the President's Council of Cornell Women. Our MissionThe Cornell Alumni Federation is the primary organization representing all Cornell alumni. It supports and strengthens the university, involves and enriches its alumni, and fosters a lifelong relationship with Cornell. The federation provides guidance to its constituent groups and promotes communication between the university and its alumni. The CAF encourages alumni participation; identifies, trains, and nurtures alumni leaders; and recognizes outstanding alumni commitment and leadership.
