Professor Allan K. McAdams
I entered the Cornell Graduate School of Business directly from Cornell's Mechanical Engineering school. Professor McAdams was my advisor/professor for a required thesis. It became painfully evident that I had not learned how to write very well (with due respect to the Engineering School) and Prof. McAdams took the time to red line virtually every page of my thesis with the needed changes. I suspect he used at least two red pencils--maybe more. After several re-writes, he finally taught me the art of writing clearly in a well organized manner. This skill served me enormously well and played a large part in my becoming a chief financial officer or treasurer of four major corporations.

Professor Sherene Baugher
Sherene gave me my dream in some ways-she opened the door to new opportunities in city planning that are extremely unique and have led me to push the limits of how to define this discipline. She always kept a real perspective by showing the balance of practice and academia, something I strive for in my own current doctoral work.
