Every year, distinguished faculty members travel to Cornell clubs and alumni associations across the globe to give presentations to alumni groups and bring alumni up to date on new developments in academic areas and current campus activities and issues. You can find a Cornell Alumni Federation Speaker Series event in your area on the schedule of events.
In the next five to 10 years, Cornell will lose up to 600 of its faculty due primarily to a surge of retirements. This puts new pressure on Cornell to attract and retain the very best teachers, researchers, and scholars for the future.
