How do I change my registration?

  • Call the Council office at 607-254-7104.
  • All changes must be received by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14.
  • Any meals cancelled after October 14 are nonrefundable.

What should I wear?

A variety of activities are offered throughout the weekend—bring clothes you will be comfortable wearing for your chosen events. Include a comfortable pair of walking shoes, and don’t forget rain gear and an umbrella! Dinner attire is business casual on Thursday and jacket and tie on Friday.

Where do I pick up my registration materials when I arrive?

  • The Registration and Information desks will be located in the foyer of the J. Willard Marriott Executive Education Center, Statler Hotel (down the hall from the hotel lobby).

When are the Registration and Information desks open?

  • Thursday:       8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday:           7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday:       7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Can I park on campus?

  • A limited number of campus parking permits will be sold for Thursday and Friday.
  • These will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of $7/day.
  • You may request a permit when you register by checking the permit box under Thursday and/or Friday. Then add the amount(s) to your total fees.
  • A few areas on campus are open to parking after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends. However, many lots have special evening and weekend permit restrictions.
  • To reduce the number of cars on campus, we do encourage you to take advantage of other forms of transportation when possible.

What transportation is available if I didn't bring a car?

We regret that there will be no ROTC drivers this year. Due to the decreasing number of students in the ROTC program, it is no longer possible to provide this service.
                                    

Hotel Shuttle

  • All hotels in Ithaca provide a shuttle service to and from the Ithaca airport.
  • Hotel shuttles are often available for other destinations. (The Statler Hotel shuttle is available only for airport pickup and dropoff.) Call your hotel to make arrangements.
  • Hours of operation are generally between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Please check with your hotel.

East Hill Shuttle

  • Best Western guests may use the East Hill Shuttle, run by Cornell University.
  • Ask for a pass from the Best Western desk clerk when you check in, or at any time on Thursday or Friday.
  • The shuttle runs every 10 minutes in a loop between the Best Western and campus.
  • Hours:  7:50 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
  • The East Hill Shuttle supplements the hotel shuttle provided by the Best Western.

May I attend a Board of Trustees meeting?

Please refer to the schedule to determine whether or not a Board of Trustees meeting has restricted attendance. Meetings with the ^ symbol begin in open session pursuant to the New York State Open Meetings Law. At the conclusion of the open session, visitors are excused. Access to the Board of Trustees meeting is restricted to ticket holders. A limited number of tickets are available at the Information and Referral Center in the main lobby of Day Hall beginning 48 hours prior to the meeting.
