Cornell University Council
Membership

Election to the Council recognizes an active interest in Cornell and the leadership roles taken on its behalf. Because an alumna/us or friend has given time, energy, expertise, and resources to the university, membership on the Council is a way of honoring that individual's special relationship with Cornell and the value of his or her support.

Council membership provides the opportunity to stay informed about Cornell; to expand contacts among leading alumni, faculty, and staff; and to influence the policies and future of a major university. Acceptance of membership implies agreement to universally support, promote, and recruit for Cornell to the best of one's ability.
