Cornell University Council

An organization of select alumni and friends who are leaders in service to the university.

The council's mission is...

To provide an opportunity to exchange information between the university and the communities represented by its members, to mobilize alumni in focused efforts that benefit the university, and to provide the university with a source of expertise.

Resolution

The Administrative Board of the Cornell University Council recognizes that the council must take a leadership role in supporting the Cornell Annual Fund and Far Above...The Campaign for Cornell, and that universal participation of our council members in the Cornell campaign is essential to fulfill the council's mission of leadership in the university community. In furtherance of this mission, the Administrative Board strongly encourages every council member to make an annual gift to Cornell in an amount appropriate to that member's individual circumstances, so that the council will each year reach the goal of 100% participation.
